Heart of the Lakes Post 1008 Honor Guard have participated in numerous funerals both at local funeral homes and Great Lakes Cemetery.  They have taken the time to represent our Post by celebrating and honoring our fallen comrades who have unselfishly given to our country in it's time of need.

 

The Honor Guard is recognizing that every member of the military who has gone to battle for our country, deserves to be honored for their sacrifices they have given whether they died in battle or lived a long life.  These men and women served and sacrificed their lives and it's our duty to celebrate them for the Heroes they are to our country.
